COLUMBUS - With flu cases on the rise in Nebraska, Columbus Community Hospital is taking precautions.

CCH issued a visitor alert Wednesday after seeing an increase in flu cases in the area.  They're asking those who have a fever, cough or sore throat to avoid visiting patients in the hospital.

CCH said they're doing this to protect patients and staff and avoid further spreading the virus.
