Alliance Police officers recognized in Promotion and Award Ceremony 

Certificate of Commendation, Chief's Coin and Meritorious Service

During the Alliance City Council meeting, Tuesday, Chief David Leavitt and the Alliance Police Department recognized several employees for their exceptional service, dedication, and professionalism. The department also celebrated the promotion of its newest sergeant. 

The following awards were presented: 

• Administrative Secretary Christine Loper – Certificate of Commendation 

• Officer Tyrel Hoatson – Chief’s Coin 

• Sergeant James Grumbles – Meritorious Service Award 

In addition, Officer Parker Dahlberg was formally promoted to the rank of Sergeant. This promotion reflects his commitment to leadership, accountability, and continued service to the citizens of Alliance. 

Chief Leavitt expressed his sincere appreciation for the hard work and professionalism demonstrated by each recipient, noting that their efforts strengthen public safety and reinforce the department’s commitment to transparency, trust, and excellence.
