Weapons brandished and things thrown at cars from alongside a highway all led to three people arrested in Central Nebraska this week.
The York County Sheriff's Office says they were called around 4 PM Sunday by someone claiming other people flashed a pair of guns and threw items at their car on Highway 69 near Shelby.
Police later found the suspect vehicle at a property near Waco, along with two of the suspects and two guns - a third suspect was hiding in nearby trees.
Three people were arrested by Polk County authorities, including 18 year olds Tyree Sipple and Gavin Starman, plus one minor. Sipple, a Las Vegas native, has initially been charged with terroristic threats and possession of a controlled substance; Starman, from Gresham, is facing felony accessory charges plus possession of a stolen firearm.
The trio could face charges in both Polk and York counties.
