What to Know: 66th annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl
KEARNEY, Neb. — The state’s top high school football seniors are gathered in Kearney for the 66th annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl. Here is what you need to know about the game.
The Shrine Bowl game will kick off at 4:00 p.m. Central Time at Foster Field at Cope Stadium on UNK’s campus. The game will be televised by News Channel Nebraska with pregame coverage starting at 3:40 p.m. The broadcast will also be available to stream for free on the NCN website. The broadcast crew includes Brandon Aksamit (play-by-play), Columbus Lakeview coach Kurt Frenzen (color) and Michael Shively (reporter).
The game will be broadcast on five Flood Communications radio stations. The broadcast will originate locally on ESPN Tri-Cities. The broadcast crew includes Doug Duda (play-by-play) and Kearney Catholic coach Rashawn Harvey (color).

The Shrine Bowl serves as a fundraiser for Shriners Children’s, a network of medical facilities serving children with orthopedic conditions regardless of their ability to pay. The players interacted with Shriners patients at the Beyond the Field event on Monday.
