Bennington wins 3rd straight Class B State Championship

Bennington continued its undefeated run for another season with another state championship.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Bennington continued its undefeated run for another season with another state championship.  

The Badgers defeated Omaha Skutt Catholic 21-0 in a defensive clinic to win its third straight Class B state championship. 

The Badgers were led by running back Quinton Archer who had 117 yards and one touchdown as well as Peyton Sanmann who passed for 165 yards and two touchdowns.  

Omaha Skutt Catholic was led by Bennett Turman who passed for 84 yards and no touchdowns.  

This is the first time that Omaha Skutt Catholic has been shut out this season.
