NORFOLK, Neb. – Areas around the state got much-needed rain overnight, and more severe storms could be on the way.
In areas ranging from Hastings to Omaha up through Columbus and Norfolk, heavy thunderstorms dropped rain last night.
The storms brought lightning, thunder, heavy winds and hail.
While some areas further west are still in desperate need of rain, the areas hit by last night’s storms could see further precipitation Wednesday night.
After temperatures reach the 80s, a high probability of hail will occur in the evening.
There is also a slight tornado risk in the eastern third of Nebraska.
