Crews quickly knock down afternoon fire at Scotus High School

No one was injured in a fire at Scotus High School Monday afternoon.

COLUMBUS, Neb. -- No one was injured after a fire involving a hallway heating unit at Columbus Scotus High School Monday afternoon.

According to Scotus High School Principal Jeff Ohnoutka, the fire happened just after school got out for the day. Ohnoutka said the fire had no impact on the school day, nor did it cause significant damage.

Ohnoutka said he is unsure of the cause at this time.
