BRIDGEPORT - Gordon Security First Regulators’ two pitchers did not give up a hit in a 26-0, 5-inning blowout win over the Bridgeport Bombers Wednesday in Bridgeport. Junebug Walking got the win for the Regulators, striking out four and walking only one in three hitless innings of work. Walking combined with Jace Freeseman to throw only 71 pitches in the game, 45 of which were strikes, as neither pitcher surrendered a hit. Kolton Kriha took the loss for Bridgeport, giving up 14 runs on 12 hits in 2.2 innings of work.

Gordon Security First scored in every inning, but the Regulator hit parade really started in earnest in the top of the second inning when they scored six runs on two singles, two doubles, three triples, and a home run to take an 8-0 lead.

The Regulators blew the game wide open in the third, sending 20 batters to the plate while scoring 14 runs on 10 hits, including three more doubles. The Bombers’ pitching contributed to the Regulator cause by giving up six walks and hitting one batter.

Junebug Walking led the Regulators at the plate, going 5 for 5 with a double and a home run.
