COLUMBUS - Residents in Columbus can support a cause by getting some food Thursday.

St. Luke's United Church of the Christ is hosting its annual Fall Market.  They're serving soup, chili, sandwiches and desserts.

St. Luke's said proceeds go toward scholarships for their preschool and to send kids to church camp, which they said helps kids get out.

“It takes kids away from technology and back into nature, back in a relationship," Pastor Adam Lassen said.  "In this current day and age, kids are always going, going, going, going and they never have to set; and they never get to set and just enjoy the world around them.”

Pastor Lassen said the Fall Market also brings the community together.

It goes until 7 p.m.  Again, it's at St. Luke's near 11th Street and 21st Avenue.
