VALLEY - It's the one thing Nebraskans are probably more sick of than anything else - flooding.

And according to the National Weather Service, there is more on the way.

About two-thirds of the state has been placed into a flash flood watch until tomorrow. The National Weather Service says localized rainfall amounts as high as six inches will create water problems in much of southern and eastern Nebraska.

As of Monday morning, the heaviest rainfall amounts were forecast for portions of Stanton, Cuming, Burt, Platte, Colfax, and Thurston counties although at least two inches of rain is forecast in dozens of other counties.

The rainfall is part of a weather system expected to bring severe thunderstorms and potentially tornadoes to the Dakotas.
