FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Noah Feddersen's 18 points off of the bench helped North Dakota State to a 92-84 victory over Omaha on Saturday.
Feddersen added six rebounds for the Bison (20-6, 10-1 Summit League). Andy Stefonowicz and Markhi Strickland both added 14 points.
The Mavericks (12-14, 5-6) were led by Paul Djobet, who recorded 38 points and six rebounds. Ja'Sean Glover added 16 points for Omaha. Tony Osburn also had 14 points and six rebounds.
North Dakota State took the lead with 12:28 remaining in the first half and did not trail again. Treyson Anderson led their team in scoring with 11 points in the first half to help put them ahead 46-33 at the break. North Dakota State was outscored by Omaha in the second half by a five-point margin, but still wound up on top, while Damari Wheeler-Thomas led the way with a team-high 11 second-half points.
Traudt's 18, Graves' game-winner lead Creighton over Seton Hall, 69-68
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Isaac Traudt led Creighton with 18 points and Nik Graves scored the game-winning 3-pointer with 2.5 seconds left as the Bluejays knocked off Seton Hall 69-68 on Saturday.
Traudt also contributed six rebounds for the Bluejays (13-11, 7-6 Big East Conference). Josh Dix scored 16 points, going 6 of 14 (4 for 10 from 3-point range). Fedor Zugic had 13 points and shot 3 of 7 from the field, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 5 from the line. Jasen Green added 11 points.
The Pirates (16-8, 6-7) were led in scoring by Adam Clark, who finished with 20 points and four assists. Seton Hall also got 11 points and two steals from A.J. Staton-McCray. Elijah Fisher had 10 points and two steals.
Seton Hall led 34-32 at halftime and waS up by 10 with 3 1/2 minutes remaining. Zugic hit a pair of 3-pointers in the final 1:26 to help rally the Bluejays.
Johnson scores 22 as Denver defeats North Dakota 98-79
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Carson Johnson had 22 points in Denver's 98-79 victory over North Dakota on Saturday.
Johnson added seven assists for the Pioneers (12-14, 5-6 Summit League). Logan Kinsey scored 20 points while going 8 of 11 and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line and added nine rebounds. Jeremiah Burke went 8 of 15 from the field (3 for 7 from 3-point range) to finish with 20 points, while adding seven rebounds and five assists.
Zane Nelson scored 12 of his 17 points in the first half to help put the Pioneers up 43-27 at the break.
The Fightin' Hawks (14-13, 8-3) were led by Greyson Uelmen, who finished with 24 points and two steals. North Dakota also got 14 points from Marley Curtis. George Natsvlishvili also had 12 points. The loss ended a five-game winning streak for the Fightin' Hawks.
Wisne's 17 help Northern Colorado defeat Idaho State 69-61
POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Brock Wisne had 17 points in Northern Colorado's 69-61 victory over Idaho State on Saturday.
Wisne also contributed eight rebounds for the Bears (15-10, 5-7 Big Sky Conference). Ring Nyeri scored 16 points while going 5 of 8 and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line and added five rebounds. Quinn Denker had 14 points and shot 6 for 16.
The Bengals (10-15, 3-9) were led in scoring by Caleb Van De Griend, who finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Evan Otten added 11 points for Idaho State. Connor Hollenbeck finished with nine points and four steals. The Bengals extended their losing streak to seven in a row.
Davis scores 16 in San Diego State's 88-54 victory against Air Force
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — BJ Davis' 16 points helped San Diego State defeat Air Force 88-54 on Saturday night.
Davis went 7 of 8 from the field for the Aztecs (17-6, 11-2 Mountain West Conference). Miles Heide scored 13 points while finishing 6 of 7 from the floor and added five rebounds. Reese Waters had 12 points and shot 3 of 6 from the field and 6 for 6 from the line.
The Falcons (3-20, 0-12) were led in scoring by Kam Sanders, who finished with 11 points and four assists. Air Force also got 11 points from Ethan Greenberg. Lucas Hobin finished with eight points. The loss is the 16th straight for the Falcons.
San Diego State took the lead for good with 15:24 left in the first half. The score was 45-26 at halftime, with Davis racking up 12 points. San Diego State extended its lead to 68-35 during the second half, fueled by a 9-0 scoring run.
Mason Falslev scores 27 to help Utah State hold off Wyoming 85-83
LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Mason Falslev had 27 points to help Utah State hold on for an 85-83 victory over Wyoming on Saturday night.
Falslev added six rebounds and five assists for the Aggies (20-3, 11-2 Mountain West Conference). Michael Collins Jr. shot 4 for 8 (2 for 4 from 3-point range) and 10 of 14 from the free-throw line to add 20 points. Drake Allen shot 3 of 3 from the field and 2 for 4 from the line to finish with 10 points.
Damarion Dennis led the way for the Cowboys (13-11, 4-9) with 20 points, six rebounds and three steals. Nasir Meyer added 19 points and Leland Walker pitched in with 15 points and five assists.
Utah State went into halftime ahead of Wyoming 39-35. Falslev scored 14 points in the half. Collins' 16-point second half helped Utah State close out the two-point victory.
