LINCOLN, Neb. — Millard South wrapped up one of the most dominant high school football seasons in Nebraska history with a second consecutive state title.

The Patriots defeated Papillion-La Vista South 49-0, which was the score at halftime, before a running clock was used for the entire second half.

Alabama commit Jett Thomalla threw for 288 yards and seven touchdowns with one interception. His favorite target was Owen Zech who led Millard South with 129 yards receiving and three scores. Amari Jackson added 118 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Gabe Prucha and Isaac Jensen each had a touchdown reception as well.

The Patriots offense out gained Papillion-La Vista South 408 to 31.

The victory marks the fourth state title for Millard South in school history. The first three came in 1995, 2009 and 2024.

Millard South's lone loss of the season was a forfeit due to an NSAA rule violation. An assistant coach allowed two players to live with him without legal guardianship which violated NSAA Bylaw 2.8 and was considered "undue influence".
