Valentine wins Chadron Girls Golf Invite; Chadron's Landreth takes individual title
CHADRON, Neb. — Valentine claimed the team championship Tuesday at the 2025 Chadron High School Girls Golf Invitational, finishing with a score of 378 at Ridgeview Country Club.
Sidney placed second with 397, followed by Scottsbluff at 410, Gering at 414, Chadron at 418 and Alliance with 456.
Chadron’s Emmerson Landreth earned the individual title with an 89, the only golfer to break 90 on the day. Three players tied for second with rounds of 91: Mitchell’s Kaidyn Patterson, and Valentine’s Tierney Miller and Joni Cox.
Valentine placed three golfers inside the top five, including Sam Sprenger, who carded a 93 to finish fifth. Alliance’s Ryley Norris also shot 93 to tie for fifth.
Other top-10 finishers included Scottsbluff’s Addison Carmody (95), Chadron’s Reese Ritterbush (95), Sidney’s Josette McConnell (96) and Gering’s Lauren Doll (96).
