Party in Scotts Bluff County results in nine adult arrests and 14 minors cited
SCOTTS BLUFF, Neb. (KNOP) - Nine adults were arrested and 14 minors were cited after deputies with the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office shut down a party last Friday.
The first deputies arrived to the report of an MIP party near County Road U and Wrights Gap Road at 11 p.m., and the last officers cleared the location six hours later at 5 a.m.
According to deputies, people and vehicles fled or attempted to flee the scene. Officers made multiple traffic stops and obtained a search warrant for the property, according to the sheriff’s office.
Officers from the Gering and Scottsbluff Police Departments and the Nebraska State Patrol assisted. The Minatare/Melbeta Fire Department and Regional West ambulance also assisted to check on various minor injuries. No one was transported to the hospital.
Charges against various people included criminal mischief first-offense DUI, minor in possession and obstructing a peace officer.
