KEARNEY, Neb. - Police in Central Nebraska arrested a 30-year-old man Tuesday morning on multiple felony charges related to child and animal abuse.

Officers with the Kearney police department and buffalo county sheriff’s office served a warrant around 8:45 a.m. at a home in the east lawn mobile home park.

The man, whose name has not been released, faces two counts of felony child abuse, as well as charges of felony strangulation, terroristic threats and intentional cruelty to an animal.
