Nebraska Broadcasters Association recognizes NCN with six Pinnacle Awards

OMAHA — News Channel Nebraska earned six Pinnacle Awards from the Nebraska Broadcasters Association this week for excellence in radio and TV.
The NBA presented the awards at the association’s convention on Wednesday. The NBA also honored two NCN account executives at the convention.
The awards range from a radio host sleeping on top of the station’s roof while asking people to donate food for the needy, to breaking news coverage of a devastating explosion in rural Northeast Nebraska and continued coverage of possible changes to the state’s tax laws.
