With Oakland Craig not having a varsity football team this year, what does it mean for your team?

Many teams in Class C2 could be affected by Oakland-Craig not having a team this year.
Oakland-Craig announced it is forgoing their varsity 11-man season in 2025 and will forfeit all of their games.
When it comes to wild card points, Oakland-Craig will now be considered a fourth division team, meaning that a victory will only yield 41 wild card points for their opponents
That is different from years previous, when the powerhouse was in the first and second divisions. When a win against the Knights would have been worth either 47 or 50 wild card points.

Teams will have the option to reschedule and find another opponent for that week. The NSAA says, replacements that may be added to the schedule are limited to either teams similarly affected by the forfeiting team, or teams that have an unfilled, allowable contest opening on their schedule
