Two-vehicle crash slows traffic on Highway 30 near Lodgepole

LODGEPOLE, Neb. – A two-vehicle accident involving a pickup and a semi tractor-trailer slowed traffic Thursday at County Road 139 and U.S. Highway 30 in Cheyenne County.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, where a white extended-cab Ford F-150 was found in the south ditch, facing east. The semi, pulling a flatbed trailer, was positioned across part of the eastbound and westbound lanes, facing mostly east.
The driver of the locally registered, pickup was transported to Sidney Regional Medical Center.
Traffic was restricted in the area but remained open while the Lodgepole Volunteer Fire Department, Sidney EMS and the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office responded.
