KIMBALL COUNTY -- The Kimball-Banner County Fair is in full swing this week, and the 4-H'ers had a busy day competing in the Horse Show on Wednesday. 

Kids starting at age 8 all the way through 18-years-old competed with their horses in Showmanship, Horse Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Trail, Reining, Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. 

The Overall Performance Senior Grand Champion was Taylor Whitney with the Reserve Champion being Giorgetta Varra.  

The Overall Performance Intermediate Grand Champion went to Laural Norberg with the Reserve Champion being Karleigh Lukassen.  

The Overall Performance Junior Grand Champion was MaKayla Loy. 

The Halter Geldings Grand Champion was Jalanna Krakow with the Reserve Champion being Kyndal Reich. 

The Halter Mares Grand Champion was Laural Norberg with the Reserve Champion being Giorgetta Varra. 

Three girls in the senior division were neck and neck the entire competition. 

Taylor Whitney came in as the Senior Grand Champion in several categories including Horse Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Trail, Western Horsemanship, and Reining. She came in as Reserve Champion in Barrel Racing. 

Giorgetta Varra came in as Reserve Champion in several categories including Horse Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Reining, and Pole Bending. 

Mallory Hottell came in as Grand Champion in Barrel Racing and Pole Bending while taking the title of Reserve Champion in Trail. 

Karleigh Lukassen took home the Intermediate Grand Champion title in Horse Showmanship and Barrel Racing, while coming in as Reserve Champion in Pole Bending. 

Laurel Norberg took home the Intermediate Grand Champion title in Western Pleasure and Western Horsemanship while taking the title of Reserve Champion in Horse Showmanship and Reining. 

Jalanna Krakow took home the title of Intermediate Grand Champion in Trail and Pole Bending. 

Kyndal Reich took home the title of Intermediate Grand Champion in Reining and the Reserve Champion title in Trail, Western Horsemanship and Barrel Racing. 

Brynlee Culek came in as Intermediate Reserve Champion in Western Pleasure. 

MaKayla Loy took home the Junior Grand Champion in all competitions, with Silas Ferguson as the Junior Reserve Champion in Horse Showmanship.
