KEARNEY, Neb.-- The Buffalo County Commissioner will be running for re-election on the Board.

Tim Higgins was first elected to the County Board in 2018 and was re-elected in 2022. He is looking to serve a third term this upcoming year.

"Over the past eight years we have seen great growth and improvement of services in Buffalo County," said Higgins. "Creating an environment for the economic growth has always been one of my primary focuses. Through strategic planning and a conservative fiscal approach we have delivered for the citizens of Buffalo County."

Prior to being elected to the County Board, Higgins served on the Kearney Public Schools Board of Education.

Higgins currently lives in Kearney with his wife, Sue.
