STERLING, Colo. — Crowds lined the streets of downtown Sterling on Saturday morning as the Logan County Fair & Rodeo Parade made its way down West Main Street, winding through the heart of the community.
The parade featured floats, horses, school teams, local businesses and rodeo royalty, drawing strong attendance on a sun-soaked August day.
The event brought together families, fair participants and visitors - as far as Arizona, Australia and England - to celebrate the community and county. The route began and ended along West Main Street, giving spectators plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sights and cheer on participants.
The parade was part of a full slate of events during the Logan County Fair & Rodeo, which continued through Sunday at the sold out demolition derby.
