Terrytown man arrested in connection with Scottsbluff assault investigation
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. — A 44-year-old Terrytown man is in custody following a violent assault that left a Scottsbluff man hospitalized with severe head injuries early Monday morning.
According to the Scottsbluff Police Department, officers were dispatched around 2 a.m. on July 28 to Kitty Court for a disturbance call. Around the same time, officers were notified that a 39-year-old male assault victim had arrived at Regional West Medical Center.
Police say the man sustained serious head injuries during the incident.
Following an investigation, officers arrested Bernard Little Spotted Horse of Terrytown. He is facing multiple felony charges, including one count of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault and one count of use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
Little Spotted Horse was booked into the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center. The case remains under investigation.
