SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. — Scottsbluff police are investigating a stabbing that sent a 38-year-old man to the hospital late Friday night.

According to a press release, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 14th Avenue shortly before midnight on July 25 following a report of a stabbing. Before officers arrived, the injured man was transported by a citizen to Regional West Medical Center.

Police say the man suffered stab wounds to his torso and is now in stable condition following medical treatment.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Investigators are urging anyone with information about the stabbing to contact the Scottsbluff Police Department as soon as possible.
