Ogallala teen driver accused of killing friend pleads not guilty
An Ogallala teen accused of murder and vehicular homicide was back in court Monday.

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - An Ogallala teen accused of murder and vehicular homicide was back in court Monday.
18-year-old Addison Malone is charged in connection with the death of her passenger, 18-year-old Nathaniel Sandoval of Ogallala, following a crash last summer.
Authorities say Malone was under the influence and speeding when she crashed into a tree outside city limits on West A Street on July 18, 2024.
She appeared in Lincoln County District Court Monday and pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder, motor vehicle homicide, manslaughter, and minor in possession of alcohol (first offense).
A pretrial hearing is set for August 11 at 10 a.m., with a jury trial scheduled for September 29.
