LODGEPOLE -- A Lodgepole man was transported to Sidney Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries when the vehicle he was driving went off the road south of Lodgepole.
Gordon "Gordy" Wilkins, 77, of Lodgepole, was driving a 2013 Honda Fit south on the 17F Link when it went off the left side of the road at about 2:06 p.m. Monday.
According to authorities, reached to move a drink cup when his hand came off the wheel and the car went off the east side of the road. The car went through the barrow ditch and came to rest in tall weeds.
