Youth win awards at Entrepreneur Market in Kimball
KIMBALL -- Four kids from Kimball and surrounding communities participated in the Youth Entrepreneur Market on Saturday as part of the All Class Reunion.
Jamie Nelson organized the event where kids set up booths to sell their product, each earning an award while learning essential skills about marketing.
Kaiden Keys, 7, of Pine Bluffs won Best Product selling items that he created from a 3-D printer. Abigail Ohnesorg, 16, of Sidney won Best All-Around selling her essential soaps. Adieline Weinbender, 11, of Kimball won Best Marketing selling hand-made jewelry and lip balm. Peyton Brown, 13, of Kimball won Best Salesmanship selling small plants and hand-made jewelry.
“It was a fantastic opportunity for kids to get feedback in a really kind way about their products and to start their business career,” Nelson said.
