STANTON, Neb.-- A Columbus man is in jail after the Stanton County Sheriff's office says he had a suspended license for 15 years.

At about 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a westbound SUV on Hwy 275 about two miles east of Norfolk for having a defective tail light. Upon having contact the driver, Gregory Johnson 44 of Columbus was found to have a suspended license for fifteen years from prior DWI’s. Johnson was placed under arrest on the felony charge that was actually a second offense. He was jailed pending the posting of a cash bond
