OMAHA, Neb. - A complete game shutout by LSU starting pitcher Kade Anderson has the Tigers one win away from another Men's College World Series title.

The Tigers knocked off Coastal Carolina 1-0 on Saturday night at Charles Schwab Field, ending a 26-game win streak for the Chanticleers. Anderson tossed a complete game shut out with 128 pitches, allowing just three hits, five walks and he struck out 10.

LSU took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first on an RBI single Steven Milam - the score would remain the same for the next eight and a half innings.

The Chanticleers left a costly nine men stranded. Coastal Carolina, the 2016 champions, lost game one of the finals before going on to knock off Arizona in the next two contests.

LSU is chasing an eighth title, and their second in the last three seasons.

Game two begins at 1:30 p.m. CT on Sunday afternoon.
