GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — NCN is working to learn more about why federal investigators were in Grand Island on Monday.

NCN staff saw federal officials on site at a house near the intersection of Arthur and Division Streets in central Grand Island. Our news partners KSNB Local 4 received an email statement from the FBI’s Omaha office saying that investigators executed a search warrant in Grand Island, but did not provide further details.

Police Captain Dean Elliot told Local 4 that officers assisted with traffic control at Pump and Pantry on Diers Ave. and at a home on W Division St. Elliot said FBI and immigration officials were both present and that the investigation was related to an ongoing investigation led by the FBI.
