Man in custody, another in critical condition after stabbing in Lincoln business complex

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - One man is in custody and another is in critical condition after a stabbing inside a business complex in southeast Lincoln on Tuesday, according to police.
Lincoln Police were called to 46th Street and Normal Boulevard around 11:45 a.m.
According to LPD Chief Michon Morrow, the stabbing happened near a second-floor bathroom in the Long Professional Center, which houses multiple businesses.
Morrow said the victim, a man in his 40s, was able to describe the suspect to police before being transported to the hospital in critical condition with multiple stab wounds. Police said his injuries are life threatening.
Timothy Bowie, 42, of Lincoln was taken into custody at a nearby location without incident and transported to LPD Headquarters to be interviewed.
LPD confirmed that the victim and Bowie knew each other, but their relationship is unknown at this time.
During a Wednesday morning press briefing, Lincoln Police said the stabbing appears to be a robbery attempt. Investigators are still looking for the knife.
