2025 Cattlemen's Ball is here

BEATRICE -- The 2025 Cattlemen's Ball, a benefit for cancer research, kicks off today at the Terry and Bev Acton farm east of Blue Springs....the host family for this year's event.
Nebraska hospitality, live entertainment, gourmet dining, and community spirit, combine to raise funds for cancer research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
The ball has been going on since 1998 and more than $21 million has been raised through the event and related activities.
This year’s Ball will feature country entertainer Gabby Barrett and other artists and a prime-rib dinner prepared for guests on Saturday evening.
The Ball has live and silent auctions that contain exclusive experiences, handmade goods and one-of-a-kind items. There's a vendor tent with goods from local artists and businesses, and a health tent with information and unique screenings related to cancer.
On-site parking is available but guests are encouraged to make use of two shuttle locations from Beatrice High School or Lauby Plumbing along US Highway 77 at the west edge of Blue Springs.
Friday, the shuttles will start at 3:30pm and the last pickup will be at 10:30pm. Saturday, the shuttles will start at 8:00am and the last pickup will be at 12:30am at the Ball. Shuttles will pick up at the two locations at the top of every hour.
Several committees have been working on the planning of the Cattlemen's Ball.
