BRIDGEPORT, Neb. – Bridgeport marked 125 years of community and tradition with the 2025 Camp Clarke Days celebration over the weekend, drawing residents, alumni and visitors for three days of small-town pride.

The annual event, held Friday through Sunday, featured a variety of activities for all ages, including a pancake feed, fishing contest, free swimming, a vendor market, and a street dance with live music Saturday night.

Saturday’s highlights included the Oregon Trail Olympics, a classic town parade, and a barbecue lunch — all part of a full slate of festivities in throughout Bridgeport.

“Just a town celebration," Organizer Celine Hall said. "People come back. Alumni come and get together for their class reunions. You can just come back and support where you came from.”

This year’s Camp Clarke Days followed the theme, “The trails to us, not through us,” in honor of Bridgeport’s deep historic roots along the Western Trails Scenic Byway and Oregon Trail corridor.
