PETA to bring the sound of screaming pigs to downtown Norfolk

NORFOLK, Neb. - An animal rights organization will try to turn Norfolk vegan with a truck parked downtown on Monday.
PETAs mobile campaign ‘Hell on Wheels’ will be outside of Black Cow Fat Pig Pub & Steak.
It will have life-like images of pigs and the sounds of the pigs crying on repeat for the entirety of the display.
In a news release, PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman said, “Behind every pulled pork sandwich is a once-living, sensitive individual who was crammed onto a truck for a terrifying, miserable journey to their death”
The truck will park around noon on Monday in Norfolk and will also be in York on Wednesday.
A manager at Black Cow Fat Pig said the business is not worried and has not noticed a change in the number of customers with PETA’s other displays.
