GERING, Neb. – Some of the top high school basketball players from Nebraska’s Panhandle and southeastern Wyoming will wrap up their prep careers at the 2025 Panhandle Prep All-Star Basketball Games on Friday night at Gering High School.

The annual doubleheader will feature a girls game at 5:30 p.m., followed by the boys game. A dunk contest will take place at halftime of the girls game, and the 3-point contest finals will be held immediately after the girls contest.

This year’s girls Red team is led by Keira Baard and MaKenzie Todd of Gering, along with Zaili Benish, Sydney Fortune, and Shawnee Gamble of Leyton, Jessica Hoffman of Pine Bluffs joins a trio of Scottsbluff seniors - Noemi Gurrola, Kinzley Hess and Ruth Lively - a duo from South Platte, Johanna Frerichs and Isabelle Reichman.

Tom Weber of South Platte and Jed Benish of Leyton will coach the Red team.

The Blue girls team includes Macey Seebohm of Alliance, Jaden Meyer and Bailey Wright of Douglas, Brooklyn Brown of Morrill, and Carli Black, Ryan Dillehay and Kayla Westby of Sidney. Jaycee Hurley, Olive Osmera and Teryn Stokes of Torrington round out the squad.

Chris Strampe of Torrington and Alicia Hawkins of Morrill will coach the Blue team.

On the boys side, the Red roster features Peyton Boyer and Seth Meyring of Alliance, Zach Lussetto of Bridgeport, and Sidney’s Reid Fiscus and Landon Riddle. The team also includes Brady Daniels and Thomas Smith of Chadron, Elijah Hatch, Brody Roberts, and Ned Nelson of Lingle-Fort Laramie, Dez Smith and Ryan Hinman of Scottsbluff, and Quentin Koenen of South Platte.

Jordan Mills of Alliance and Kyle Sanders of Chadron will serve as coaches.

The Blue boys team will consist of Mason Medley of Burns, Kade Collins of Garden County, Jack Maser of Gering, and Parker Provost of Hyannis. Also on the team are Gavin Bell of Hemingford, Ridge Kupke and Jackson Smith of Lusk, Wyler Fisher and Ashwin Pittman of Morrill, Kannon Tippetts of Southeast, and Weston Dyer of Torrington.

Coaches are Terry Lofink of Morrill and Ed Fullmer of Lusk.
