Nebraska residents are gaining more internet options in the coming years.
AT&T has agreed to buy most of Lumen’s fiber internet business for nearly 6-billion dollars.
A deal between AT&T and Lumen, who operates as Century Link and Quantum Fiber in 11 states, shows a potential benefit to the Omaha area.
The agreement is still pending approval, but will give a wider selection of choices to Nebraska residents.
