KIMBALL -- The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest May 14 for several felony and misdemeanor charges. 

Forty-year-old Joseph Male was arrested on May 14 on several felony and misdemeanor charges including four counts of felony possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl, hydrocodone, alprazolam, and marijuana), felony possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, misdemeanor violation of a protection order, and an active warrant. 

His active warrant was for Misdemeanor unauthorized use of a financial transaction device under $500, Misdemeanor theft of under $500, and Misdemeanor violation of a protection order. 

The sheriff’s office made contact with Male during another investigation that is currently under investigation, so no further details can be made public at this time. 

Male is still in custody and his bond is set at $100,000 with the right to post 10%. 

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
