NORFOLK, Neb. -- The driver involved in the accident near HWY 275 and HWY 24 intersection in Norfolk has walked away with no injuries. 

The driver struck a pole, which caused it to snap in half and crash into the substation causing multiple power outages. 

Power has been restored and crews from Nebraska Public Power District and Elkhorn Rural Public Power District are currently setting a new pole and wires.

Assisting with the accident were the Madison County Sheriff's Office, Norfolk PD, and Norfolk Fire and Rescue.
