POTTER - Emergency personnel responded to a crash involving two semi-tractor-trailers Thursday afternoon on westbound Interstate 80 near mile marker 37 in the Nebraska Panhandle.

The collision blocked one lane of traffic as responders directed vehicles through the scene. One semi, hauling a gravity box trailer, sustained heavy front-end damage after rear-ending the second semi, which was transporting vehicles. The second trailer and several vehicles on it also appeared damaged.

Minor injuries were reported. The names of those involved and the cause of the crash has not been released.

Conditions at the time of the crash were partly cloudy with temperatures in the low 70s.
