OVERLAND PARK, KS - On Friday, May 2, the Heart of America Athletic Conference named its Baseball All-Conference Award winners. Two Bobcat Baseball players earned All-Conference Awards.
 
Gustavo Rivera, a senior from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, earned All-Conference Honorable Mention as a catcher. Rivera had 40 hits with 38 RBI this season, finishing with a .272 batting average and scoring 19 runs for the Bobcats. Defensively, he had a .987 fielding percentage on the year.
 
Antonio Benitez, a junior from Carolina, Puerto Rico, earned All-Conference Honorable Mention as an Outfielder. Benitez tallied 62 hits and 21 RBI with only 19 strikeouts, batting .376 on the season. He scored 40 runs and racked up 24 stolen bases this season with a fielding percentage of .962.

On Friday, May 2, the Heart of America Athletic Conference named its Softball All-Conference Award winners. Three Bobcat Softball players earned All-Conference Awards.
 
Ellie Ohlde, a senior from Fairbury, Nebraska, earned Second Team All-Conference. Ohlde had 35 hits and 15 RBI this season, batting .292. She tallied 16 runs for the Bobcats and finished the season with 83 assists and an .867 fielding percentage.
 
Kloey Hamblen, a freshman from Papillion, Nebraska, earned Second Team All-Conference as a Defensive Player. Kloey had a .339 batting average after totaling 39 hits and 18 RBI with only 12 strikeouts this season.
 
Reagan Wiehe, a freshman from Kansas City, Kansas, earned All-Conference Honorable Mention. Wiehe tallied 17 hits and 13 RBI for a .315 batting average and scored nine runs this season. She also had 55 putouts and a .968 fielding percentage.
