Flood Communications named Business of the Year by Greater Omaha Chamber

OMAHA — Flood Communications has been named the 2025 Business of the Year by the Greater Omaha Chamber, recognizing the company as one of the city’s most outstanding businesses.
The award is part of the Chamber’s annual Business Excellence Awards, which celebrate organizations that “elevate the greater Omaha area and make it a better place to do business, work, and live.”
“Flood Communications is honored to receive such a prestigious award,” said CEO Andy Ruback. “This recognition is deeply humbling, especially considering the many other excellent businesses in our community. It reflects our team’s hard work, creativity, and commitment to serving the people of Nebraska.”
A volunteer selection committee chose Flood Communications as the 2025 award winner. The committee aims to highlight businesses that demonstrates outstanding achievements that reflect leadership, vision, and a commitment to community.
Flood Communications is a Nebraska-based media company that operates television, radio, and digital platforms. Its network includes 18 radio stations and seven TV stations under the News Channel Nebraska brand.
Its Omaha office is home to Telemundo Nebraska—the state’s only local Spanish-language TV newscast—as well as Lobo 97.7 radio and News Channel Nebraska TV.
Flood Communications will be featured in the June issue of Strictly Business magazine and honored at the Greater Omaha Chamber Business Excellence Awards reception on June 10.
