KEARNEY, Neb. — News Channel Nebraska will broadcast the town hall event hosted by Sen. Pete Ricketts on Thursday in Kearney.

The event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. CT at Younes Conference Center South and will last for one hour. Communications staff for Ricketts say the senator will give an update on his work in Washington D.C. and then answer questions directly from Nebraskans.

HOW TO WATCH NCN

This is the first of three town halls organized by Ricketts this week. He will host a town hall at the sale barn in Valentine on Friday at 10:00 a.m. CT and will host a town hall at the UNL Panhandle Research Extension and Education Center in Scottsbluff on Friday at 2:00 p.m. MT.

The town halls come as the nation experiences a charged political atmosphere. Similar events, including a town hall hosted by Nebraska Rep. Mike Flood, have drawn large crowds that jeer, boo and shout at the hosts.

You can watch Thursday’s town hall on NCN TV, newschannelnebraska.com, on NCN social media channels and on the NCN app.
