Colorado woman sentenced to 11 years for trafficking meth on the Rosebud Reservation

ROSEBUD, S.D. - A 35-year-old woman from Colorado has been sentenced to 11 years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine on the Rosebud Reservation.
Between 2015 and 2020, Patricia Rae Pacheco—also known as Patty Pacheco—worked with several others to traffic meth from Colorado to South Dakota. Prosecutors say she supplied the drugs to family members and others on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation.
Pacheco was indicted by a federal grand jury in Aug. 2020 for conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. She pleaded guilty on Jan. 15, 2025.
