SIDNEY -- Two people were injured when the vehicles they were in collided today.

First responders were called to a two-vehicle accident at 1:54 p.m. near the intersection of Fort Sidney Road and 11th Avenue.

A white Jeep Cherokee was stopped southbound on Fort Sidney Road for geese crossing the road when a Chevrolet Impala collided with the rear end of the Jeep. 

The driver of the Impala was transported to Sidney Regional Medical Center by ambulance. The driver of the Jeep went to SRMC by private vehicle, according to Sidney Police.
