Gering’s Maser wins Mitchell Golf Invite in scorecard playoff
MITCHELL, Neb. – Jack Maser of Gering edged Noah Shaddick of Scottsbluff in a scorecard playoff to claim individual medalist honors at the 2025 Mitchell High School Golf Invitational on Wednesday, after both carded rounds of 75 to top the field.
Maser’s was one of four golfers in the top 15 for the Bulldogs, including Kelan Dunn (81), Mitch Culek (85) and Deakon Tuttle (88).
Shaddick, who has consistently finished near the top in spring invites, led a Scottsbluff squad to the team title, placing five golfers in the top 11. Teammates Gavin Carrizales (81), Dagen Cranmore (82), Brett Elwell (83) and Tyce Spady (83) joined Shaddick near the top of the standings.
Kyler Lusche of Kimball finished third overall with a 79, while Crawford’s Rhett Flack and Sidney’s Cole Raffelson tied for sixth and ninth, respectively, both shooting 82 and 83.
Other notable performances included Hay Springs’ Hunter McDonald (85) and Hemingford’s Jacob Bryner (83).
