The cold and snowy conditions has affected WNCC Cougar athletics this weekend.

The Cougar men’s basketball game with North Platte Community College that was slated for Tuesday has been move to Wednesday, February 19 with a 6 p.m. tipoff. That contest will be a key South Sub-region contest for both squads. WNCC won the earlier match-up in North Platte 101-97 on January 31.

The other change is the WNCC baseball team’s home opener. The Cougars were slated to open the season against Miles Community College on Saturday. Those doubleheaders have now been moved to Sunday and Monday, February 23 and 24 for the doubleheaders.
