LINCOLN, Neb. - The Nebraska State Patrol says they responded to over 100 weather related instances during Wednesday's winter weather. 

Two serious crashes occurred on I-80 on two different ends of the state. One was a fatal accident on I-80 near Lexington. Another serious crash occurred near Gretna when two semi trailers collided on I-80, causing an oil spill on the road. 

The highest snow totals in Nebraska were in the southeast and southwest corners of the state...  Tecumseh, NE. reported seven inches of snow in Johnson County and areas around Imperial, NE. recorded five to six inches. 

NSP says to call the Highway Helpline at *55 if stuck on interstates or highways.
