Authorities investigating flatbed trailer theft in Platte County

COLUMBUS - Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a stolen flatbed trailer

It happened east of Columbus on July 27th around 1 a.m.

The Platte County Sheriff's Office says the flatbed semitrailer had a Nebraska License Plate 277220. It also had black mudflaps with yellow writing on them.

The driver’s side and rear passenger side have stickers that say T-18.

The trailer was taken by a Red Semi Tractor with no plates. There was also an accompanying Dodge pickup in the area that is believed to be involved.

After the trailer was taken, the suspects headed east on Hwy 30 and were believed to have left Platte County.
