BEATRICE – Motorists using North Second Street in Beatrice to travel to and from the Gage County Industrial Park area will have to find another route for a few days.

The City of Beatrice is announcing that North Second Street will be closed, starting today (Tuesday), between Grant and Herbert Streets.

Workers will be doing concrete repairs on North Second….work that is expected to take about a week.  North Second is an access to the Gage County Industrial Park area……often also used as an informal bypass, by motorists.

The repair work does not include the bridge that spans Indian Creek, along North 2nd.   That’s a State of Nebraska responsibility.
