Two Oklahoma men arrested on felony drug charges

The arrest happened Saturday evening in Stanton County

STANTON - Two Oklahoma men are in jail after drug arrest in northeast Nebraska.

The Stanton County Sheriff's office says 24-year-old Nathan Carpenter and 54-year-old Craig McNeill were arrested Saturday evening.

Authorities say the two were en route to Montana, but were stopped along Highway 57 just north of Stanton.

Both men were found to be in possession of meth and marijuana.

Carpenter was already out on bond for a drug and firearm charge out of of Oklahoma.

Both men are being held on $20,000 bond.
