SCHUYLER, Neb. -- A school in eastern Nebraska is shut down for the rest of the week, but not because of the weather.

Schuyler Elementary School is shut down after a fire broke out in a classroom.

Superintendent Dr. Bret Schroder said in a statement that the building will be shut down until at least next Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Schroder said significant damage was done to the rook, and there was water damage to the building.

There's no word on what started the fire. It was reported that no one was hurt.
